    David Lennon (N&S)

David Lennon worked for the Financial Times for over 20 years as a Foreign Correspondent, Bureau Chief and a Managing Editor prior to his retirement. David is thoroughly familiar with County Hall having bought 190 South block while County Hall was being converted to residential units. David was a founder-member of CHORA in the 1990s and a founder-Director of County Hall Management Company on its inception. He resigned as a director two years ago because of pressure of other commitments. These included Director of Ormonde Terrace Ltd, which manages a block of 70 flats in St Johns Wood and Executive Director of a property company in France. He and his wife Vicky lived at CH for three years before moving out to make way for their son and his wife. Their flat is currently rented.

    Mike Burke (N&S)

County Hall has been Mike’s permanent home since Easter 1996. Mike has always had a keen interest in County Hall affairs being a founder member of Chora and also stood as a director of the Management Company for the period 2002 – 2003.
During his time as Director Mike was responsible for property and reported on and developed a strategy for the planned maintenance and means to build up a sinking fund to pay for the necessary works, which are now underway.
Mike is a Chartered Surveyor with over 40 years experience in the construction and property industry and has his own practice based in the City with wide experience in development and refurbishment of commercial and residential accommodation in London and the UK.

    Hilary Simon (E&W)

Hilary and her husband Oliver have owned a flat in East Block since 2004. Hilary was a chief officer in local government (social services and housing) before taking an early retirement opportunity and moving for some years into interim management and consultancy. She is now working part time running a small charity – Southwark Pensioners Centre – which enables her to have a sensible work/life balance with time to enjoy the cultural riches of London. She is a regular user of the leisure centre and thinks that County Hall is an ideal London base.

    Ann Donoghue (N&S)

Ann and her partner, Martin have been residents of South Block, County Hall since Autumn 2004; Ann joins the board of CHMCL August 2007.
She is currently based at Unilever's London HQ building in Blackfriars as VP, Human Resources, thereby enjoying the walk along the river to and from work each day. She has worked in a variety of HR roles within the NHS and Unilever based in London, Sussex, Bristol and the United States.

    Alan Chapman (N&S)

Alan joined the Board in the summer of 2010. He has been a resident of North Block since August 2004 when he was relocated by BP for whom he worked in the pensions department. Previous employers included Remploy where he was the Pension Scheme Secretary and Corporate Planning Manager, and the British Tourist Authority where he was an economist. Now retired, Alan is a Trailblazer Volunteer for the London Olympic Committee on two days each week, and also guides Italian schoolchildren around London occasionally. Alan believes that County Hall is a superb location for enjoying the cultural and sporting life of London.
